Appointment of Honorary Freeman of the Borough HONORARY FREEDOM OF THE BOROUGH MOTION TO BE MOVED BY Councillor R Hignett and seconded by Councillor M
Lloyd Jones: That 1) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972, the Council do admit Councillor Dave Cargill as an Honorary Freeman of the Borough of Halton in recognition as being a person of distinction who has tendered long and eminent service to the Borough; MOTION TO BE MOVED BY Councillor Gilligan and seconded by Councillor
Morley: That 2) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972, the Council do admit Councillor Tony McDermott as an Honorary Freeman of the Borough of Halton in recognition as being a person of distinction who has tendered long and eminent service to the Borough. Minutes: Moved by Councillor R Hignett and seconded by Councillor M Lloyd Jones and unanimously RESOLVED: That Councillor Dave Cargill be admitted as an Honorary Freeman of the Borough of Halton.
